Not surprisingly, it was team AC Milan that currently holds the rank of champion in the UEFA Champions League. This means the prized European Champions’ Club Cup is now held by AC Milan. This would be the 7^th time that AC Milan has topped the UEFA Champions League. Real Madrid is considered the most successful team in UEFA Champions League history though.

The UEFA Champions League used to be called the European Cup. Only the best European football clubs are allowed to participate in this exclusive competition which was recently topped by AC Milan. Its European Champions’ Club Cup is deemed the top club trophy in the world of football (also called soccer.) One reason many clubs aspire to play in this competition is that the UEFA Champions League shares television deals’ revenue with the participating clubs.
