Milan's Palazzo Reale hosts an impressive exhibition dedicated to Italian artefacts created between 1948 and 1960, which helped to shape the country's contemporary profile and lifestyle.

For the first time over 700 original objects and projects, testimony to great socio- economic transformations, come together to form a mosaic that documents the strengths and peculiarities of post- war Italian creativity. Through architecture, design and graphics, television and cinema, fashion, photography and art this initiative reconstructs an extraordinary journey into the so- called "Economic Miracle" that took place at a time when the country was still suffering the devastations of the Second World War.

The iconographic collection includes works and performances by Anita Ekberg, Marco Zanusso, Gio Ponti, Mario Marini, Federico Fellini and many more.
